Explore Our Activities

In this section, discover the array of activities we offer to enrich the lives of our club members. From regular meetings and outings to interest groups, we provide opportunities for members to connect and thrive together. Our club holds a regular monthly meeting at Duncan Community Lodge (formerly known as the Moose Lodge) at 2244 Moose Road in Duncan. on the first Tuesday of the month. The December meeting is our Christmas party. Other meetings usually include a speaker. See Speakers page for more details.

Hiking

Join our monthly hiking group that explores hikes around the Cowichan Valley often followed by an optional lunch near the hike location.

Interesting outings

Various outings are often arranged such as this one to the BC Air Museum and the Mars water bomber.

Social Events

Participate in our various social events for fun and socializing. There’s always something fun happening at the club.

Cribbage.

Cribbage takes place on the 4th Thursday of the month from 1pm – 4pm. The next cribbage session will take place on on June 25th. at Duncan United Church. More players are always welcome for this fun social afternoon.

Last Tuesday of each month (rain or shine)

Hiking.
Meet at the usual parking lot, off Beverley Street (formerly Cowichan Valley Autos - kitty corner to the Thrifty's mall) ready to leave at 9:30. This month's hike, on August 25th., will take us on the trail around Crofton Lake on the Mount Richard's side of Osborne Bay Road. Lunch afterwards will be at a place decided on by those who hike! SUMMER PICNIC: July 29 (note date change) at noon at the Duncan Community Lodge.
$35.00 with a cash bar. Picnic food, and lots of fun. Sign up and pay at the June meeting or contact Wendy.

Members are encouraged to both donate and take books and puzzles from the exchange table. Any puzzles not taken will be donated.
